A bit about us

As online retailers and marketeers we learned the hard way about the importance of keeping advertising costs under control without sacrificing sales.

As quantitative scientists we also learned about the power of Artificial Intelligence. Through AI, machines are capable of doing quantitative things far beyond the abilities  of human beings. Yet, human beings can do creative things far beyond what any machine is capable of doing.

So we really believe in the meaningful combination of the two.

Data Scientist & Co-Founder

Building algorithms for numeric applications is Jan’s expertise and passion. With a vast trading-desk experience in the financial industry Jan has built several successful real-time trading algorithms for the financial markets. At AD_INFINITUM he is leading the bidding team.

Jan holds a degree in Finance & Banking and in addition to his work for AD_INFINITUM he is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Wuppertal / Department of Finance & Corporate Governance.


Business Developer & Co-Founder

With 15+ years of Senior Management/Director experience with global IT companies, building and managing global partner networks is Marc’s core competence. As an entrepreneur he has built and invested in several (online retailing) companies. At AD_INFINITUM he is leading the business development activities.

Marc holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Business Science, a Certificat d’Études Politiques  from l’Institut d’Études Politiques de Strasbourg (Sciences Po) and an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the University of Oxford.

Chairwoman of the Advisory Board

Prof. Dr. Silvia Zaharia has been researching online consumer behaviour for over 15 years. She is a Professor of Marketing & E-Commerce at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences where she is also Managing Director of the eWeb Research Centre. At AD_INFINITUM she advises us on the development of the algorithms and on our marketing strategy.

After her online retailing career Prof. Dr. Zaharia received her PhD (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
